Overview
The third Ranma 1/2 game is a one-on-one beat 'em up featuring extensive visual scenes that vary depending on whether you win a fight as boy-type Ranma or girl-type Ranma. Levels are set in a variety of locations, with a crazy array of characters from the manga out to get you. During fights you can hold down the button to power up a super attack, or hit select to change from boy to girl and back again, female Ranma being more agile but having less power.

Comment
As a beat 'em up, the game is pretty competent, but where it really shines is presentation. The scenes between levels are well drawn and very funny in places and are the glue that holds the game together, and this combination makes the whole package greater than the sum of its parts and a fantastic bit of entertainment, especially for Ranma fans.
