Overview
Atlantean is a Defender style shooter set on an underwater planet. You have to defend the Atlanteans against the evil robot horde who attack in a series of waves. Some of the enemies will capture the Atlanteans and bring them to the surface, mutating them into bio-mechanical hybrids, but shooting the ships before they transform will release the prisoner. You then have to grab them and escort them to the safety of the ocean floor. If you let too many Atlanteans die or be transformed, Atlantis is destroyed and it's game over. There are several stages in Atlantean, set over four levels. These include the standard shooting levels, minefields, bosses and bonus levels where you need to catch as many falling Atlanteans as possible to help repopulate.
