Overview
CD version of Side Arms which contains the regular version and a special 'Before Christ mode'. In the standard version the control method allows you use the fire buttons to shoot in opposite directions, defending yourself from attacks from the rear. The power ups are selectable and if you collect an alpha symbol you combine with another ship for a super robot. Before Christ mode plays slightly differently, with weapons only changeable on pickup, and also the addition of a charge beam similar to R-Type. Gameplay has had a change with dying sending you back to a restart point, rather than you continuing where you were killed, but the most dramatic change is the graphics, which are more basic than those in the standard version of the game.
