Overview
Digital comic from the popular anime series. Yōko Mano is the last in a line of demon hunters, and as such, has to confront all manner of wicked creatures in her Valis-style life. Those familiar with the Ranma 1/2 digi-comic will find that this plays in exactly the same way - there is no way to ‘game over’ and you can save at any time in the story.

Comment
Without the benefit of understanding Japanese, Mamono Hunter Yōko doesn’t fare quite as well as Ranma 1/2 (which has far more visual humour) or The Secret of Blue Water (which is more dramatic and has slightly better graphics). There is a lot of chit-chat and scenes seem to linger on more than some other games of this type. The graphics are well drawn, but somehow not as interesting as the aforementioned games. This is one to add to your digital comics when you feel the itch to play another, rather than at the beginning of a collection.
