This a very standard vertically scrolling shoot ‘em up. The problem with it is not that it’s hard, but it’s hard in a way that makes you just want to turn it off after about a minute and play something else instead. Visually it’s boring, power ups are unexciting and it is frustrating and not really worth the effort.

GRAPHICS: Simple and unimaginative. (There are some creatures in the background to the first level that look suspiciously like the ohmu from the anime ‘Nausicaa’).

MUSIC: Not too bad, but you only get to hear the start of each tune as you’re killed off so quickly. And the slide down the musical scale when you die just seems to be there to rub salt into the wound and get you riled up even quicker.
